This version counts likes, comments, shares, and saves that you provide. Use a consistent sample of recent posts and the same interaction types when comparing creators. Platform analytics may expose different metrics, so document what is included.
How to use the result
Engagement is a qualification signal, not a guarantee of reach, audience quality, brand fit, or sales. Review the creator's subject matter, audience geography, posting consistency, sponsored-content history, and the relevance of actual comments before making a decision.
Why averages matter
A single viral post can distort the result. Calculate averages across a defined recent sample, note obvious outliers, and compare creators using the same window. For campaign review, measure the sponsored content separately from the creator's general feed.
