Your first day in Afflo
Setup is done — now make it real. Your first day is a short checklist: close out anything you skipped, get a few partners in, and make sure money can move before commissions come due.
The first-day checklist
- Finish your first program if you skipped it during onboarding — everything else (links, codes, attribution) hangs off a live program
- Add a few affiliates — invite partners directly, or share the program’s invite link so they can join themselves
- Watch the Dashboard — once partners share their links, first clicks show up here, and it’s the fastest way to confirm tracking works end to end
- Connect a payout provider — under Payouts → Provider Settings, connect PayPal, Tremendous, or Trolley before commissions come due
Why the payout provider can’t wait
It’s tempting to leave payouts until the first commission is owed. Don’t. Connecting a provider takes a few minutes today, but a missing connection at payout time means partners waiting on money — the fastest way to burn trust with the people promoting your store. Pick the provider that fits: PayPal for the broadest coverage, Tremendous for gift cards and rewards, Trolley for international partners.
What good looks like by end of day
One live program, at least one affiliate invited, a verified sending domain, and a payout provider connected. From there the daily rhythm is simple: check the Dashboard, review what needs attention, and grow the partner list.
