Connecting Your Store
Everything in Afflo hangs off the Shopify connection — attribution, sample orders, and billing all depend on it. Connect the store before you touch anything else.
Connecting from Settings
- Open Settings → Stores and click Connect Shopify Store
- In the modal, enter the store name without
.myshopify.com— just the store part - Approve the connection on Shopify’s authorization screen
- The store then appears in the Stores manager
You can also connect during the guided onboarding flow, where Connect Shopify is inserted as a step when you select Shopify as your integration. Note that WooCommerce shows as “Coming Soon” there — Shopify is the connectable platform today.
What starts flowing immediately
The moment the store is connected, order webhooks start syncing sales into Afflo. Every incoming order is checked against tracked referral links and discount codes, so a matching sale is credited to the partner who drove it — no manual work on your side.
Practical notes
You’ll need the Shopify store name and admin access before you start. If you’re an agency operator, make sure the client has approved the connection from their Shopify admin — the store, the plan, and the billing all belong to them.
