Troubleshooting Payouts
Most payout runs are uneventful. When something does go wrong, it’s almost always one of three issues — and each has a clear place to look first.
Stuck in Processing
A payout sitting in Processing usually means one of two things:
- The provider connection dropped — re-check it under Provider Settings
- The provider itself is still settling — delays of a few days are normal
Give provider-side delays a little time before treating them as failures.
Wrong amounts
If a partner says their payout is too high or too low, open that affiliate’s Performance tab and check for overrides. Program-level changes don’t always apply the way people expect to individual partners, and the Performance tab shows exactly what Afflo calculated and why.
Rejected payouts
A Rejected status almost always traces back to the partner’s own payout details — a mistyped PayPal email or an incomplete account. The fix happens on their side: partners update their payout details in their own affiliate portal. Once they’ve corrected it, you can re-run the payout from the Rejected tab. You can’t edit their details for them, so a quick message pointing them to the portal is the fastest resolution.
